The benefits of massage included relaxation of  the body and mind, tension relief, improved lymph flow and enhanced mood.    Studies of people with cancer suggested that massage therapy can reduce symptoms such as pain, nausea, anxiety, depression and fatigue.

All treatments are individually tailored,  pressure, positioning are all modified for comfort and specialised ‘adaptive techniques’ are included in the treatment plan.

Carolyn holds a qualification in Therapeutic Massage for Cancer Care.  She is a Macmillan volunteer and works in a variety of  NHS Hospitals where holistic therapies are offered alongside mainstream medicine.
